STORAGE RATE: Storage is $5.50 per square foot per month*, with a $175 monthly minimum ( covers up to first 15 square feet ). All storage fees must be paid by the 15th of the month, after which a 1.5% fee will be assessed.

RECEIVING & RELEASING

Our receiving or releasing fee is $75 per occurrence. There is a $75 per worker hourly rate for larger shipments and items that need to be unwrapped and rewrapped for identification/condition evaluation, or for pieces that require special handling at the time of receipt or release. We do request 24 hour advanced notice for all deliveries and releases. A rush fee will be assessed for under 24 hours notice, if we are able to accommodate your request.

WAREHOUSE

Warehouse labor is $75 per hour per handler. This includes any additional wrapping that is required to safely store the items, any viewing of artworks, and any special requests that require unpacking or reinforcing current packing of an item at AFAS. Labor will be charged in half-hour increments after the first hour.

TRANSPORT & COLLECTION

  • $120 per hour for one handler (four hour minimum)

  • $275 per hour for two handlers with truck

  • $360 per hour for three handlers with truck

  • $445 per hour for four handlers with truck

  • $85 each additional handler

    Saturdays are 1.5x rate (four hour minimum) Sundays are 2x rate (four hour minimum)

     

    MATERIALS

    Materials used for wrapping are billed at an additional cost.

     

    ONSITE PHOTOGRAPHY & VIEWING ROOM

    We offer onsite photography. Prices are available upon request. To rent our viewing room in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is $100 per hour or $600 per day, plus $75 per handler hourly labor.

     

    INSURANCE

    Please remember that all storage clients are required to carry full insurance for their items to be stored at our facilities.

    In addition, we are equipped with the following insurance, which can be temporarily upgraded at an additional fee should circumstances necessitate such action:

    • $1 million in-transit insurance

    • $2 million general liability insurance

    • $2 million fine art insurance per occurrence, with option for temporary additional coverage per item

    • Additional Transit insurance may be purchased for $1 per $100 value items in shipment
